Rural territories in the 2014-2020 policies of territorial cohesion and inclusive growth The RUMRA (Rural, Mountainous and Remote Areas) Intergroup meeting on “Rural territories in the 2014-2020 policies of territorial cohesion and inclusive growth” took place on 22 September 2015. The meeting counted with the participation of the EU Commissioner for Regional Policy Corina Creţu. The European Countryside Movement (ECM) – platform of which Euromontana is a member – took the chance to hand in to Commissioner Creţu a Supporting Document calling for a White Paper on rurality

Sustainable Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries in the Bioeconomy A Challenge for Europe The conference “Sustainable Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries in the Bioeconomy – A Challenge for Europe” took place on 8th October 2015 in Brussels. The aim was to present the last findings of the Foresight Expert Group of the Standing Committee on Agricultural Research (SCAR) on bioeconomy.
