Anna Giorgi took part in the meeting “Creating Care Communities in Social Metamorphosis” on Friday 7th April 2017, at 9.30 am, at the Tirano Town Council – Sala Consiliare in Piazza Cavour.
The meeting “Creating Care Communities in Social Metamorphosis” was organized by the Association Comunità Il Gabbiano to promote public thought on the role of care communities in relation to anthropological, social, economic and institutional change. Territories and local communities are fundamental resources that need to be valorized to reach and imagine a future open to confrontation with the world.
Thus, Anna Giorgi, director of Ge.S.Di.Mont., emphasized the importance of safeguarding mountain territories and their community role, full of essential values such as responsibility and mutual trust, which also historically have played an active and fundamental role in the development and support of society.
The meeting was therefore a moment to share various experiences, reflecting on the importance of focusing more and more on the territories, a highly useful workshop experience.
