Join CO.R.I.MONT: the coordination of Italian networks for mountain areas

Italian Mountain Lab, a Ministry of Education FISR – Special supplementary Fund for research project through which the Ministry of Education, University and Research is supporting the objective of promoting collaboration between Universities, Research and Development Centers and stakeholders active in the enhancement of the mountain territory at a national level, in order to capitalize, consolidate and increase knowledge and experiences for the sustainable development of these areas, was officially presented at CIME A MILANO.

In this context, by virtue of its consolidated experience in the analysis and study of the complex issues that affect mountain territories, as well as in the promotion and dissemination of research and training initiatives for the promotion and valorization of these areas, UNIMONT – Center of Excellence of the University of Milan – is promoting networking and the activation of a Coordination of Italian Networks for Mountain Areas – CO.R.I.MONT.  to promote the sharing of information between networks already active in the development of mountain areas, laying the foundations for new future alliances.

CIME A MILANO was an excellent opportunity to present existing national networks and to launch the idea of setting up a Service of Coordination of Italian Networks for Mountain Areas (CO.R.I.MONT.) capable of interacting in a coordinated, organized and strategic manner at a European level.

EVERYTHING IS NOW READY TO START WORK TOGETHER!

We ask you to complete the form and confirm your participation in the Coordination of Italian Networks for Mountain Areas platform (CO.R.I.MONT.):

Coordination of Italian Networks for Mountain Areas – CO.R.I.MONT. is based on the capitalization and strengthening of existing experiences, on cooperation and dialogue at an international level. To achieve this goal, as part of the Italian Mountain Lab project, a coordination platform for the development of mountain areas will be made available, equipped with technological tools that will allow organizations to work together and coordinate, each from their own territories.

In the section dedicated to the Italian Mountain Lab project on the UNIMONT site ( http://www.unimontagna.it/il-progetto/italian-mountain-lab/ ), specific tools (currently being developed) will be available, some accessible to all – a public area – and others reserved for Coordination platform members* only – a private area.
