The Ge.S.Di.Mont Research Center promotes the coordination, research and dissemination of good practices for the development of the Italian mountain territory.
For this reason, Ge.S.Di.Mont facilitates the activation of the Alpine and Apennine social tissue through various initiatives, including the “Antennas” project, Co.R.I.Mont. and through the Italian Mountain Lab project.
One of the main objectives of the Ge.S.Di.Mont Reseach Centre (of the Mountain University) is to enlarge its active network of organizations which promote a new approach to mountain areas, no longer seen as marginal but as key players in future development, encouraging change which can impact on the future of the whole world,
Italian Mountain Lab is a Ministry of Education FISR – Special supplementary Fund for research project through which the Ministry of Education, University and Research is supporting the objective of promoting collaboration between Universities, Research and Development Centers and stakeholders
