The process of defining the national internal areas strategy in Alto Oltrepò Pavese was completed in June, thanks to the co-planning work between the 14 municipalities of Alto Oltrepò Pavese with the technical support of the Mountain University – UNIMI, Lombardy Region, and the Internal Areas Technical Committee, with the approval of the Framework Program Agreement for the “Appennino Lombardo – Alto Oltrepò Pavese”.
A path that has involved the Mountain University, providing technical assistance coordinated by Prof. Giorgi with the UniMont internal areas team, from the very beginning back in 2016.
Today, after an intermediate phase of implementation of the first measures validated by the Lombardy Region, the area strategy has completed its process with the definitive validation by the State and the Lombardy Region of a development plan until 2024 consisting of more than 30 interventions and an overall amount of just under €20 million distributed in services to citizens, intervention and calls for tenders provided by the Lombardy Region.
