In particular, the analysis will focus on the complex legal framework that forms the EU legal system, in light of its legal sources, its founding values and objectives, including the distinctive role played by the case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union. The course will secondly provide a specific analysis to the EU mountain areas, starting from their features and identifications marks. Lectures will then cover specific issues concerning mountain areas: from free movement at national boundaries to the environment protection; from the cohesion policies to EU funds strategic implications.”
