The new Master’s Degree course in VALORIZATION AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF MOUNTAIN AREAS offered by the UNIMONT Centre of the University of Milan (class LM-73) provides students with an in-depth knowledge of the EU institutional framework and a specific analysis to the EU mountain areas.
The MOUNTAINSIDE “European union law” Course is held by Professor Massimo Condinanzi of the Department of Italian and Supranational Public Law of the University of Milan.
Professor Condinanzi says: “The course aims, at first, at providing an in-depth knowledge of the EU institutional framework, as well as its relationship with national legal systems. In particular, the analysis will focus on the complex legal framework that forms the EU legal system, in light of its legal sources, its founding values and objectives, including the distinctive role played by the case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union. The course will secondly provide a specific analysis to the EU mountain areas, starting from their features and identifications marks. Lectures will then cover specific issues concerning mountain areas: from free movement at national boundaries to the environment protection; from the cohesion policies to EU funds strategic implications.”
