With the conclusion of the ARPAF Project “COWORCare. Coworking with children&elderly in the Alps” a map of coworking spaces for Alpine areas has been made available on the UNIMONT website.
The ARPAF project “COWORCare. Coworking with children&elderly in the Alps” worked to improve the quality of working life in the rural and mountainous territories of the EUSALP area by connecting coworking and coworkation spaces with private family support institutions, such as childcare and institutions for the dependent elderly.
The conference held on December 14, 2023 at BASIS Vinschgau Venosta marked the end of the Project and was an opportunity to present the findings that emerged from the research.
Among several other objectives of the project, UNIMONT, center the Milan State University, was responsible for creating a map in which to identify coworking spaces, coworkation and coworcare, and private care institutions within a 10km radius in the rural and mountainous areas of the Alps.
The COWORCare map is designed as an evolving, participatory tool based on a citizen science approach: anyone can suggest new spaces or care institutions by browsing it.
