DISCOVER AND STUDY THE MOUNTAIN IN THE MOUNTAINS

The Master’s Degree Course, in English, “Valorization And Sustainable Development Of Mountain Areas” – MOUNTAINSIDE presents a unique, multidisciplinary and “glocal” educational offering, capable of combining local and international dimensions.

Claudia Picozzi, Associate Professor at the University of Milan and lecturer at the UNIMONT hub, underlines the importance of the Master’s Degree Course “Valorization And Sustainable Development Of Mountain Areas” – MOUNTAINSIDE highlighting how, “A distinctive feature of this Degree Course is that it offers students the opportunity to study THE mountains IN the mountains, in a context of high interdisciplinarity. Being in daily contact with the mountains allows our students, but also the faculty, to be able to directly experience what is explained in the classroom. The internationality, supported by the fact that the course is totally delivered in English, allows a continuous exchange of experiences and visions with a common goal that is the enhancement of the mountain territory, wherever in the world it is located.

 

ACCESS REQUIREMENTS

(to be obtained by December 31, 2023)

 

Bachelor’s degree in classes L-25 (Agricultural and Forestry Science and Technology) or L-26 (Agri-Food Science and Technology) or L-32 (Science and Technology for the Environment and Nature).
If holding another degree, you must have acquired at least 45 credits (CFUs) in the scientific-disciplinary fields (SSDs) indicated in the Study Manifesto.

English language proficiency of level B2 demonstrated through a language certificate among those accepted by the University or by taking a placement test at the University Language Center (SLAM) according to the schedule published on the SLAM website.

 

DEADLINE

 

BY OCTOBER 31, 2023Submit the application for admission on the portal of the University of Milan following the procedures and specified in Article 3 of the Notice of Admission.
BY DECEMBER 31, 2023 – Be in possession of the degree and curricular and language requirements indicated among the admission requirements.
BY JANUARY 15, 2024Submit the matriculation application on the University of Milan portal following the procedures and deadlines specified in Article 5 of the Notice of Admission.
