On 6th March, enrollments will open for the Master’s Degree Course (LM-73) in Valorization And Sustainable Development Of Mountain Areas – MOUNTAINSIDE, which has already been active for one academic year at the UNIMONT Polo of the University of Milan in Edolo.
If you love the mountains and want to become an active professional, this course offers excellent academic preparation in the context of the specific resources of mountain territories in many strategic sectors for their economy: from tourism, agritourism to handicrafts to industry, manufacturing as well as innovative sectors such as agri-food, medicine/health, nutraceuticals, cosmetics, biotechnology, in the bioeconomy and circular economy; energy from renewable sources.
The course will provide the specific knowledge and skills of a historical-geographical, juridical-legislative, economic and digital nature, which will allow the elaboration of business and marketing strategies suitable for starting a new business in mountain contexts, but also for planning and management of actions in the context of programs to support administrations.
The Master’s Degree course, with an international orientation, is held entirely in English, but is distinguished also by its location: the UNIMONT campus of the University of Milan is located in Edolo (BS), a mountain town in the heart of the Central Alps, a place that favors perfect interaction between the local and global dimension of the course and which allows active study of the different disciplines through the direct understanding of the needs of the territory with a direct experiential approach in the local mountain context.
