UNIMONT and Federforeste ( Italian Federation of Community Forestry ) signed an “Agreement for scientific collaboration .”
The collaboration stems from the common relative sensitivity to the typical problems of the mountain , with particular reference to agriculture and forestry , in an optical identification of multi-functionality , development of agro-food production and traditional sustainable economic development
Federforeste and UNIMONT also share the need to promote synergies in the strategic development of mountain territories , enabling a network of virtuous relationships that share resources , knowledge and skills.
In this regard it is essential to invest in the farm -forestry and its aggregated forms through recovery actions and promotion , but also protection from degradation processes and environmental anthropology .
