The University of Milan, Lombardy Region, the Department for Regional Affairs and Autonomy of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and Fondazione Cariplo met on Monday 29th April at Palazzo Lombardia for the presentation of several projects developed by the young participants of the Master in Project Management for Mountain areas of the University of Milan – UNIMONT hub.
The meeting, which took place in the evocative setting of the Berlusconi Belvedere in Palazzo Lombardia, focused on planning for the sustainable development of mountain areas. The discussion was also an opportunity for the students of the Master in Project Management for Mountain areas to share their experience and present some of the projects developed during the year of study in the presence of the Councillor for Universities, Research and Innovation for the Lombardy Region, of the Advisor to the Minister for Regional Affairs and Autonomies, and of the Vice President of the Cariplo Foundation.
The University of Milan, with its Alpine hub constantly engaged in collaboration with Institutions and Bodies active in the development of mountain territories, reiterated once again the current importance of issues related to planning for these areas. The Master in Project Management for Mountain areas enhances the training offer for the development of mountain territories in addition to the Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees provided at the UNIMONT campus of the University of Milan*.
The event was created in collaboration with the Lombardy Region and the Presidency of the Council of Ministers – Department for Regional Affairs and Autonomy.
