An international conference “Information on the Move: towards a Sustainable Mobility Information Network” will take place on 18. June 2015 on the island Herreninsel (Schlosshotel Herrenchiemsee) in Prien, Germany.
The conference will present challenges of and solutions for an integrated transport and tourism information system at a transnational level. Public authorities and stakeholders from the transport and tourism sector willing to implement such a Sustainable Mobility Information Network will receive practical guidance to follow the AlpInfoNet example. Next to presenting concrete examples both from the projects’ pilot regions and other European initiatives, the conference will try to sketch a vision for sustainable mobility in the Alps.
The conference will be followed by a dinner reception on the mountain Kampenwand. Dorothee Bär, Parliamentary State Secretary at the German Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure will open the reception.
