The advanced course provides basic tools for understanding the mountain area context, with particular reference to territories, communities and institutions operating there. It therefore aims to define the knowledge and skills needed to understand and manage tourism in mountain areas. It also analyses and explores evolution, models and examples available in the economic, socio-cultural and natural contexts of the sector. At the present time, it is important to highlight the potential of new technologies, IT and telematic tools for the promotion and organization of such activities. The course aims to create the conditions for potential career and job opportunities for: accommodation technicians and similar professions; organizers of fairs, exhibitions and cultural events; organizers of conferences and receptions; tour operators and similar professions; travel agents; natural, experiential, cultural and sports guides; tourist guides.
