The Mountain University took part in the fair “Fa’ la Cosa Giusta!”. On Saturday, 11th March at Fieramilanocity: Anna Giorgi spoke at the conference “Fragile Territories”; Emanuela Zilio intervened at the “Schools to return” table.
The 14th edition of “Fa’ la Cosa Giusta!”, the largest fair in Italy dedicated to critical consumption and sustainable lifestyles, took place from 10th to 12th March at Fieramilanocity.. “Fa’ la Cosa Giusta!” is a place for cultural meeting, exchanging and sharing, and included workshops and conferences as well as the participation of the Mountain University.
The Mountain University participated in the conference “Fragile Territories”; held from 11.00 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. in Sala Tina Anselmi on Saturday, 11th March. The meeting addressed the problem of areas at risk of social desertification and environmental issues, which can however be an excellent experimental resource for innovators concentrating on the sustainability of mountain areas. Anna Giorgi, Director of the Centre of Applied Studies for the Sustainable Management and Protection of Mountain Areas intervened at the conference analyzing intervention measures and programs to implement policies to encourage a return to these areas.
In addition, from 2 p.m.to 3 p.m. the Resistant Territories workshop included a round table on “Schools to Return” with the participation of Emanuela Zilio of the Mountain University Ges.di.Mont. Centre, discussing the possibilities and ways to return to a sustainable life in a natural environment, analyzing the results of the first experiments and observing new professionals.
