On 24 March 2022 the Policy Table “Toward the green transition” organised in the framework of the “BE-READI Alps” project will be held online: the UNIMONT centre of the University of Milan will take part due to its coordinating role in Action Group 1 – Research & Innovation of EUSALP on behalf of the Lombardy Region.
On Thursday 24 March from 9.30 a.m. onwards, the Veneto Region is organising the policy table “Toward the green transition”: an opportunity for the Alpine regions to talk about businesses and the green transition, exploring new approaches, processes and tools for strategic and operational cooperation between regions. Around the virtual table, decision-makers, analysts and representatives of companies, research and business support organisations will discuss how best to push the Alpine regions towards a more sustainable development, taking into account the competitiveness needs of companies and local contexts.
The workshop which will see the contribution of Prof. Anna Giorgi – Leader of Action Group 1 – Research & Innovation, will present the current and future challenges and opportunities for sustainable growth in the area of the European Strategy for the Alpine Region (EUSALP), which can be facilitated by the promotion of an ecosystem of research and innovation consistent with territorial priorities.
The policy table is organised by Veneto Innovazione, Lead Partner of the Alpine space BE-READI Alps project, in the framework of the Italian Presidency year of the European Strategy for the Alpine Region. Links will be made with the activities of EUSALP AG1 and AG2.
