Saturday, December 12, 2015, at 20.30, in Space “T’RAUM” Art Academy of Diversity of Via Volta 1 in Bolzano, will stage “Top Lenana” by and with Michele Fiocchi, loosely based on Felice Benuzzi book “Escape on Mount Kenya. ”
The real story of three Italian prisoners of war, that in 1943 evade a British prison camp in Africa just to climb Mount Kenya. The two weeks of this “useless” and heroic enterprise, transform the lives of these men, creating in them an indomitable spirit and cementing a never ending friendship.
The show pays tribute to the three protagonists and to the men of their generation who knew how to show love for the mountains and for life.
Escape and climbing are a celebration of life itself, a creative act that gives courage, hope and a new, regenerated life perspective.
