“UnimiConnect. University Third Mission Universe”: UNIMONT’s contribution to the third mission activities of the University of Milan

The University of Milan has an impact on society with many activities, as presented in this book. One of these, and an extraordinarily important example, is the interaction of UNIMONT, Centre of Excellence of the University of Milan, with the Lombardy Region and more generally with the various Alpine communities.

On Friday 18th November 2022, at 4.30 pm in the Sala Napoleonica of Palazzo Greppi (Via Sant’Antonio, 12 – Milan), as part of Bookcity, the event “Sustainability, rights, social innovation” will be held, with the presentation of the book “Unimi per l’inclusione, le comunità e il cambiamento sociale”. The University of Milan has an impact on society with many activities, as presented in this book. One of these, and an extraordinarily important example, is the interaction of UNIMONT, Centre of Excellence of the University of Milan, with the Lombardy Region and more generally with the various Alpine communities.

The UNIMONT Centre of the University of Milan was selected as a case study in the context of the ANVUR project of the University of Milan as it represents a unique example of constant dialogue with the territory and with mountain stakeholders and therefore constitutes a virtuous model of networking for the enhancement of mountain areas.

Since its establishment, the UNIMONT Campus of the University of Milan has promoted many teaching, research and third mission activities involving stakeholders active in the development of mountain territories at a regional, national and European level, thus generating practical results and impacts for the sustainable development of these areas.

Furthermore, the UNIMONT Centre promotes the dissemination of technical-scientific contents through its channels, including a newsletter that allows the community to stay updated on the activities organized by the Centre and on the main initiatives underway in Italy and in Europe for the sustainable development of mountain areas.

Booking is compulsory for the event on Friday 18th November through this link – places are limited.
