Professor Anna Giorgi of the Mountain University – the Edolo Campus of the University of Milan – has been invited to hold a lecture at the RENA Summer School (Matera), which takes place from 25th to 30th August.
The RENA Summer School committed to “Good Governance and Responsible Citizenship” aims to build a ‘toolbox’ to systematically exploit innovation, addressing the topic of ‘chaotic’ transformation along five different axes.
On Tuesday, 29th August Professor Anna Giorgi, thanks to her considerable experience, scientific knowledge and skills regarding development in mountain areas gained through ongoing direct involvement, has hold a lecture as part of the session “Organizing and reorganizing territoriality” during the day dedicated to “The future of work and the economy – React to change”. Professor Giorgi presented the Mountain University and explained the concrete and practical functions of UNIMONT as a centre of excellence for teaching and research about the complexity of mountain areas, as well as an innovative and interactive university centre for the promotion of mountain enterprises.
