From 22nd to 25th November, at the end of the Italian Presidency, Trento is hosting the Annual Forum of EUSALP – European Strategy for the Alpine Region, the fourth European Macro-Regional Strategy which involves 7 countries, 48 regions and 80 million people in order to respond to the important challenges of the Alpine Region.
The workshop “The role of young people in the National Recovery and Resilience Plans: an Alpine perspective Lombardy Region and Youth Council” will take place on Thursday 24th November, from 9.15 a.m. to study how to actively involve young people in Recovery and Resilience Plans in the Alpine area, discussing the role played by the academic world in allowing young people to be adequately represented in policies at a European level.
Professor Anna Giorgi, head of the UNIMONT Centre of the University of Milan and Leader of Action Group 1– Research & Innovation of EUSALP on behalf of the Lombardy Region, will also intervene during the workshop. Her contribution, entitled “Fostering Research & Innovation through the PNRR: the role of the University“, will present the UNIMONT Centre and the activities it carries out for the sustainable development of mountain areas.
