The seminar will introduce and describe some innovative tools for monitoring forest resources, with particular focus on forest biodiversity through tree-related microhabitats. The main topics are: remote sensing, Climate-smart forestry, Integrate forest management. For each of them, at least one case study highlighting main findings and weakenesses will be showed.
The field activities will focus on the identification of tree-related microhabitats in the forest.
