The 1st edition of the ‘International Workshop on Alpine and Mountain Plants – iWAMP 2024‘ will take place on October 23rd, 24th and 25th 2024 in San Michele all’Adige (Tn).
Alpine and mountain regions are well recognised as a hotspot of plant biodiversity that includes a high diversity of ethnopharmaceutically, food and cosmetically relevant species.
iWAMP 2024 will bring together international and interdisciplinary experts to discuss biodiversity, germplasm and genetic resources, regulation, domestication, phytochemistry, biotechnology and health and nutritional applications. The first version of the iWAMP shall initiate a series of biannual meetings for cutting edge alpine and mountain plant research dissemination.
As part of this meeting, a Call for Abstracts is open with the 30th June 2024 deadline.
