What is the difference between “educational programmes” and “training and information activities”?

Educational programmes, in this case, are provided by a university, and participation leads to the allocation of credits and provision of certification, such as a diploma. Such programmes therefore include:

  • undergraduate programmes;
  • postgraduate Master programmes;
  • postgraduate 1st level vocational Master programmes;
  • PhD;
  • advanced courses;
  • summer schools;
  • single courses.

Instead, training and information activities are all those activities provided by various organizations, associations, or institutions, in the form of:

  • seminars;
  • workshops;
  • conferences;
  • congresses;
  • etc.

Training activities do not necessarily lead to the allocation of credits and provision of certification.
